Cape & Vineyard Solar Loan

The Compact offers customers up to $50,000 in financing at a 2.75% rate over a 10 year term for Solar PV installations. Solar must be installed at a primary, year-round residence and have satisfied the weatherization requirements listed on the website to be eligible. Funds are limited and customers will be served on a first-come, first-served basis. Customers enter the queue based on when their application is deemed complete, including satisfaction of the weatherization requirement and approval from any applicable historic districts. TRUSTS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THIS LOAN.
Posted 3/28/25: At this time, the Compact has received more applications than available funding. Any new applications will be placed on a waitlist and in the event that customers drop out of the process during application review or underwriting, customers on the waitlist will be contacted in the order that their complete applications are received. Additional funding may become available in December 2025, depending on Federal availability.

For homes constructed in 2000 or later, please upload a copy of your assessors card which can be found on your Town Assessor's website. For homes built before 2000 please upload your certificate of completion from your weatherization install (typically these are stapled by your electric panel. If you are unable to find that, it can be requested from the company who did the energy assessment). If you had no weatherization recommendations or less than $1,000 worth of weatherization work recommended, you can upload the Home Energy Assessment report.
